Kopie der handschriftlichen Partitur des Komponisten. - Der 1939 in Piräus geborene Komponist war Schüler von Y.A. Papaionnou in Athen sowie Bernd Alois Zimmermann und Herbert Eimert (elektronische Musik) in Köln. In den Jahren 1965/66 besuchte er Kurse bei O. Messiaen und J. Wildberger in Karlsruhe. "Beginning with 12-note serial writing, he applied serial practice to other elements in 'Anamnissis' ('Memories'), a ppiece of subtle timbral and rhythmic interplay, and then turned to chance procedures and music-theatre; these later works denounce the inhumanity of technological society with a poetic nostalgia for the past" (Grove).
